Matt Tibbs
Founder & Head Coach
Matt Tibbs isn’t just a Coach. He’s someone who has lived through real battles, rebuilt himself from the inside out and dedicated his life to helping others do the same. As the founder and head coach of TIBBS Bootcamp, Matt brings together military discipline, elite athletic experience and a genuine passion for helping people become stronger in every area of life.
A former British Army Physical Training Instructor, former professional Muay Thai fighter and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt, Matt has spent over two decades helping people transform physically and mentally. Having overcome addiction, personal setbacks and some of life’s toughest challenges, he understands firsthand what it takes to rebuild confidence, resilience and purpose.
Since founding TIBBS in 2009, Matt has coached hundreds of people from all walks of life. His approach goes far beyond exercise. Every session is designed to challenge people, build confidence and develop the resilience that carries into every aspect of life.
Matt’s mission has remained the same from day one: to build stronger bodies, stronger minds and stronger people. That mission is at the heart of everything TIBBS Bootcamp stands for, creating a community where people of all abilities are supported, challenged and inspired to become the best version of themselves.
Liz

Liz
Coach
Liz has been part of the TIBBS Bootcamp family for over four years. She joined as a member and, from day one, stood out for her exceptional fitness, determination and relentless work ethic. It wasn’t long before she became someone others naturally looked up to.
Away from Bootcamp, Liz is an Assistant Headteacher, bringing the same leadership, organisation and high standards into every session she coaches. After winning our Best Fitness award, stepping into a coaching role was the natural next step.
Fitness has been a huge part of Liz’s life for nearly two decades. From circuit training and endurance events to Spartan races, half marathons and everything in between, she thrives on pushing herself and helping others discover what they’re capable of.
Liz is known for setting the standard. She leads from the front, coaches with confidence and creates sessions that are challenging, enjoyable and full of purpose. Her calm approach, professionalism and attention to detail have earned the respect of both members and coaches alike.
A trusted leader within the TIBBS team, Liz is someone people naturally follow. She embodies the values of hard work, commitment and consistency, making her an integral part of our coaching team and an outstanding role model for everyone who trains with us.
Ben

Ben
Coach
Ben is an exceptional coach whose professionalism, high standards and positive attitude make him a huge asset to the TIBBS coaching team. With over eight years of coaching experience and as a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt, he brings a wealth of knowledge, discipline and technical expertise to every session.
Known as “The BJJ Assassin,” Ben has a talent for helping people improve. Whether it’s refining technique, building confidence or encouraging members to push beyond their limits, his coaching style is focused, demanding and always centred on getting the very best out of every individual.
Ben leads by example. His humility, consistency and relentless pursuit of improvement have earned him the respect of everyone who trains with him. Despite his nickname, he’s one of the friendliest people you’ll meet. His great sense of humour keeps sessions enjoyable, while his coaching helps members achieve more than they thought possible.
We’re still not convinced Ben is fully human. We’ve searched for the off switch, but we still can’t find it.
Whether you’re stepping into your first Bootcamp or looking to take your fitness to the next level, Ben will challenge you, support you and help you become stronger, fitter and more confident. A fantastic coach, an exceptional martial artist and a valued member of the TIBBS Bootcamp family.
Sheena
Coach
Sheena
Coach
Sheena’s journey is one of the most inspiring stories in the TIBBS community. She joined us as a member lacking confidence, overweight, unfit and struggling to know where to start. Through incredible consistency, determination and resilience, she has transformed her life, losing an amazing 6 stone.
Sheena is living proof that consistency beats perfection. She didn’t just change her body, she changed her mindset, and that’s why she’s such an inspiration to everyone who joins TIBBS Bootcamp.
Known as the mother hen of the team, Sheena is always the first to check in on others, offer encouragement or go the extra mile to help someone who needs it. Her care for the community comes naturally and is one of the reasons she’s so valued by both members and coaches alike.
She has also become the driving force behind our OCR and Spartan Race team. From organising events and motivating the group chats to making sure everyone feels supported, Sheena brings people together and inspires them to achieve things they never thought possible.
Today, Sheena is an outstanding coach whose energy, encouragement and genuine passion for helping others shine through in every session. She is a huge asset to TIBBS Bootcamp and a perfect example of what can happen when you simply refuse to give up.
